Brexit is still on the horizon and the government have recently announced there will be new funding worth £50 million to help staff with customs training and IT upgrades.
This funding will support freight forwarders, express parcel operators and customs brokers.
The government previously made £16 million available to help skill staff within customs so this new £50 million is an additional fund to help businesses.
This new funding will be available from July 2021 and you can apply and find our more information through the HMRC website here.
