It is fundamentally important that businesses rally together and support one another to try to get the economy back on its feet.
News broke yesterday that there were dates for numerous industries to re-open for business between August and September. The First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon announced that there is now a date for schools, gyms, driving lessons, theatres, live events and many more to re-open.
This will have a much needed, positive effect on the economy and is one step closer to getting Scotland back on track.
Titan are currently running a social media campaign, which will continue in the coming weeks, along similar lines to the governments #supportlocalbusiness campaign this allows us to show our gratitude and commitment to supporting local businesses within our community.
We all have sizeable and varied audiences across social media and other marketing platforms, and it is vital that we use this in a positive manner to help other businesses get the recognition they deserve.
Yesterday felt like a win for many of us, as businesses got dates for re-opening and it gave them a good idea of the plan ahead, but it also gave the public a good idea of when they will be able to get back to doing the activities they enjoy the most for example the gym or live music theatres.
These are activities and services that have been much missed, and that we also need to help both mental and physical health.
