Throughout this meeting the consultant will ask a series of questions to try and understand what kind of job you are looking for. We can then provide you with some guidance on where to begin and what you can do to ensure you stand out from the crowd. This will most likely be discussing the importance of CV building and interview techniques for when your big day comes.
CV building for a candidate is vital because it is a first impression. It is the piece of information a client will pick up to read first so you want it to be perfect for them in order to make that good first impression. We have our own CV template that any of our candidates can use to write out their own CV and make it detailed and interesting. Titan can also give you assistance on ways to improve your CV to tailor it to exactly what a business is looking for.
Once you have made a good first impression with your CV the next step in any recruitment process is the interview procedure. This will allow the client to sit down with you to try and understand what experience you have and how you will fit into their team and make it more successful. I know from experience interviews can be daunting but that is okay because we are on hand to assist you with some interview techniques that you can use when you meet with the employer. This will hopefully make you feel more comfortable about the interview as a whole.
Once we have successfully placed a candidate we make a strong commitment for ongoing communication from the beginning of the recruitment journey to the end. Having conversations with the candidate is vital to keep up to date on how they are getting on, providing any tips or questions we can assist you with throughout the recruitment journey but most importantly once we have placed a successful candidate we like to keep in touch afterwards to ensure they are happy and stable within their new role and that they also like the new business they work for.
